Restart and Rebuild Finale

Throughout the COVID pandemic, social enterprises have proven to be both resilient and agile in responding to the needs of Scotland’s most vulnerable groups and communities. Much of this has been as a result of Scottish Government’s swift action to ensure that substantial resources were made available at the outset of the crisis.

However, as we move from the Response phase – we want to build on the success of the SE Reset Week held in May 2020, and move on to focus on Restart and Rebuild.  SENScot and the SENs, in partnership with others, will be hosting a week-long series of events – to inform, inspire and connect social enterprises from across Scotland.

P4P ‘In Conversation with CRNS’

Earlier this year, P4P launched a new monthly webinar series, In Conversation With, where we are joined by a range of individuals from the third sector who are successfully collaborating with others.

As part of SE Restart and Rebuild Week, P4P is hosting our next webinar with the Community Resources Network Scotland (CRNS), the national membership body for the community reuse and recycling sector.

A key element of CRNS' work is the CRNS Reuse Consortium, made up of several reuse organisations who provide reuse furniture to local authorities through the Scotland Excel Domestic Furniture and Furnishings Framework.

Mental health and wellbeing showcase

This session will showcase three amazing social enterprises with a particular interest in mental health and wellbeing, and active across a range of thematic areas including community food, culture, employability, health and sport.

As a result of Covid19, each of the social enterprises have been required to respond in different ways to continue addressing the needs of their customers and in being able to continue operating as a social enterprise.
